Ripon "Color The Skies" Festival 2008

Ripon CA "Color The Skies" festival is on this labor day weekend. It is a fundraising charity for the childrens hospital and is in it's 3rd year! Balloon pilots from all over come to fly this event which raises money for needy sick children who fight everyday just to survive. This morning we were up at 3am just to attend as my husband is a hot air balloon pilot. There is much to do there for all ages. Even tethered balloon rides for kids! This photo was taken by Ray Nipper who happened on the scene and took some lovely shots of my husband in his balloon :) This years theme is "Rise, Shine, Give" so if you are in the area of Ripon and are a hot air enthusiast, then please come by and see the balloons and know everyone involved put their hearts into this grand event for these children :)
